Even when they do support it that doesn't mean it's going to be "stable". Some Asus users are having issues with IB and P67/Z68 (BSOD, random crashing, missing BIOS options, etc.). I think at this point it's best to get a H77/B75/Z75/Z77 if you want true support for Ivy Bridge - even more so if you plan on overclocking.

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Backing up dazboot's findings - once again the Sniper 2 on a 2600k does not have working voltage controls or any load line calibration. Possibly this issue only now affects Sandybridge processors. Either way this is completely ridiculous. A while back a representative from Gigabyte promised us that the Sniper 2 would be one of the first in line for the whole UEFI update with an estimated date passed many months ago now for it's release. It now seems Gigabyte is focusing mainly on this years boards and totally forgetting the fact that many of us purchased premium boards such as the Sniper 2 under the stated pretence of full Ivy Bridge support and a UEFI bios. The message this puts out to me is that they are neither happy to honour their commitments nor to correctly support their products after only one generation of succession.

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
I have a GA-Z68X-UD7 motherboard and the F10 bios isn't the best released IMO the F10 beta worked better but was not as stable when over clocking but at least the manual ram timings worked correctly if I use the manual setting's in the full F10 BIOS my rig lock's at post and I'm using the exact same setting's as the XMP profile anyway thats not what I wish to ask.
How long before F11 will be released?
Will The Z68X-UD7 get a UEFI bois?
Any INFO would be great!

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Ok ppl,
Z68X-UD4-B3 user here. It's been about a week using U1C bios, and I finally achieved to get to 4.5Ghz with 2600k using Vcore and Offset, due to the lack of LLC Support in this bios.
As far as I've tested, system runs ok. No more cold boot issues. OS initiates faster with UEFI. Dolby sound works out of the box.
So, for Z68X-UD4, should be only a matter of time to get LLC setting and job done.

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Thank you Stasio for sending me the new bios with new Cpu code but still the same no vcore. disabled iest and c1 states still same. just taken the cpu out the socket to make sure there is no bent pins in the socket and it spot on. this looks like to be a dodgy board. will be sending it back. thank you again ;) run out of options now.
this board has not been overclocked using this cpu and purchased the cpu april 29th. ivy bridge. not been able to push it at all. :(Last edited by dazboots; 10-01-2012, 08:42 AM.

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
No not at all i cant adjust voltages at all.
and just installed easy tune 6 cpu stock just moved voltages to 1.3 applied set computer froze. easytune isnt compatable with this bios. thats more that i got with the board that dont work even the drivebay box with overclock button dont work.
its going back shouldnt have to put up with this for 6 months.Last edited by dazboots; 10-01-2012, 01:03 PM.
