Last week I tried to update my EP45-UD3P with the 11 beta BIOS, the update was successful only my PC will not boot and just continually restarts. I've been working away from home all week and now would like to fix the issue, I've tried some of the suggestions this forum but without success.
My MB is over a year old, is there anything I can do?

I removed the battery and cleared cmos with the same results as before, I also left the battery out for my week away and tried when I got back and the same results, constant restarts.
Press the power button and keep it pressed, yes you read it right ***keep it pressed!***
The motherboard will turn ON, do nothing and shut down(now you can leave the button)
This process will "wake up" the DUAL Bios protection...

Shouldn't the DualBIOS kick in and save the day?
Thanks for the suggestions.
i think the newer bios's flash both the bios chips, was it the right bios version for that mb? you may have to manually short the bios chip, you need to pm lsdmeasap on how to do this as if you touch the wrong pins you will need a new chip soldering on the mb so i wouldnt attempt without speaking to lsdme first

Makes no sense for the updater to update the 2 BIOS chips, it will negate the reason
why we got 2 BIOS.
Here it does not update the 2.
it depends whether it updated back up bios on reboot or not,or whether it flashed both main and back up at the time of flashing, its only what ive read from more experienced members

Good suggestion, didn't work for me...same results.
I used qflash to update.......I see they have now removed the problem bios from here as other people have had the same problem..... Can I rma this board?

did you pm lsdmeasap? you might get things going if you short the bios chip, lsdme knows how to do this and what pins to cross, you can fix without rma so i would speak to him first,if you cant get it going then yes rma should be fine if you explain what happened

No I didn't pm LSDMEASAP as I did read about others who also used this technique to recover the board and also how they electrocuted themselves, not keen on trying that method and would prefer to rma if i can....
