Looks good, I would make these changes >>>
Driving Strength ............................auto Set to your ram speed or one step above

    Channel B
    Static tRead Value...........................: 8
tRD Phase0 Adjustment.....................: 1 << Set to Auto

Re: GA-EP45-DS3L stable with 2GB, not post with 4GB?

I saw other people set-up with a Q9550 to hit 3.8 mhz. Think I can hit 3.8mhz with air cool. I have zalman cnps9700 cooler with a themaltake M9 case modified with 2 120mm front fan like a nine hundred case. Right now at full load quad core at is about 54 C. I thought i was happy at 3.4, but after reading about others set-up, I want more...lolz : ). I will try later after if stabel 24 hours.

My 9700 and Dual Core Xeon E3100 (Same as 8400) would get into the 70's at 4Ghz, so you may be too hot at that speed with a quad

Let me know how you get along, and if you need help

So this set-up is not as stable as I thought it would. I would get freezing while running prime95 when screen saver comes on. Any idea? My set-up are as folllowed:

Re: GA-EP45-DS3L stable with 2GB, not post with 4GB?

Well first you could disable your screensaver and just shut off your monitor when you leave a test running. So, is that memtest86+ Stable? You need to know that first so you can tell if it is the ram or CPU Causing the failure

If memtest fails you may need to switch to the 400 MCH latch at those speeds, and raise Static tRead to 9 if you do.

However, if it passes memtest then you may just need a small MCH Voltage bump, and a cpu vcore and vtt bump

Thanks alot, finally got a stable system at 3.4 mhz over 12 hours. Memtest was stable, all I did was increase some voltage in MCH (1.3), vcore (1.3), and vtt (1.28). You have been a great help. I will probably keep this settings for now. Thanks!

Re: GA-EP45-DS3L stable with 2GB, not post with 4GB?

Nice to see you found a stable point! Have you tried lower MCH now that you added a bit more Vtt? Or just tried lower at all of any now that you are stable, I know that may not sound so nice after finally getting somewhere.... But lower is better so when you get some spare time see if you can lower things.

You also are likely to be able to tighten these up a bit >>>

                tWTR..........................................5 << 3-4
