Thats hot idle temp for your GFX Card, just thinking out loud there. It has no effect on your stability

For 4GB stable with your above settings, here is what you should change >>>

Thanks for the response. I will try setting and post back. I'm waiting for my aftermarket cooler to come in. Ordered a thermalright T-rad, hopefully that would lowered my temp.

Tried setting with 4 sticks, system just continually restart itself and wouldnt even POST. However, still post and run with 2 sticks of ram.

What exact settings did you set for 4 sticks? And this is 4x1 of matching pairs correct? Just have to ask to be sure

I used the setting that you have suggested in previous post. This is 4 sticks (4 x 1 GB). Ran memtest86 last night with ur setting for 2 sticks, no errors. Still will not post with 4 sticks at 1066mhz.

Please post the table back, with the exact settings you use to try to get 4 sticks to post and I will advise

And please test this ram, one by one in slot one. I know you said you thought you ruled this out in post one, but simply booting with each set is not a definitive answer as to whether each stick is 100% working order >>>
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Must be that version of Memtest86+. Please test each stick in slot one, at stock speed and timings, and manually set voltage to be sure you do not have a DOA Stick in there

This the exact settings as suggested by you to try booting up with 4 GB at 1066mhz. Will not post with this settings.

Jus finished testing each sticks in slot one with memtest86+. all sticks passed with no errors. I am able to post with all four sticks when lowered the memory speed to 800mhz. It now running stable, but not at the advertised speed of 1066mhz with the above settings.

maybe is ur motherboard :O.. try test the 4stick in other mobo

Im planning upgrade mi mobo to p45-ds3l with 4stick of crucial ballistix 8500

but now i read this thread and im a little scare

so far what i've been reading is that this board does not like 4 sticks of ram. You should do 2 x 2GB if you want 4 GB. Dont know if this is true or not.

lower end P45 boards seem to have inherent issues with 4x1GB DIMMs... try the same settings with just 3GB and see if you can post

if you get a DS3R or better you shouldn't have a problem with 4x1GB... also, i wouldn't recommend Crucial memory if you plan on geting a Gigabyte board... Mushkin, Geil or Kingston would be my top picks for memory

That's great RAM... especially in Gigabyte boards... but for 2x2GB you'll have to tweak some settings a little bit to get stable... they'll look a little something like this

that'll give you a stable system, but you can still optimise the performance by tightening the timings... of course, you'll have to start out loose to get stable first
