I'm a sucker for elaborate (see::effective/efficient) cooling solutions. Why void your warranty when you can get a great piece of hardware, pre-installed with an aftermarket cooler, for what, $10.00-20.00 premium? No contest.

          But here is a question:

the question on all of our minds:

          well, my mind anyway:

Could this be the board's fault?

I doubt at all it is the board, just shotty ram.

Get some Mushkins and be content with for sure stability

              ;3

              So.

              I RMA'd the other ram,

and ordered a set of Mushkin 2GB Ascent PC2-8500 sticks.

              Prime95 Stable 6+ hours.

              0 Errors after 20 passes in Memtest86+ (Test 7).

I might run a Memtest on default tonight, but I don't expect to find anything.

              Thanks for the advice guys.

Great choice, and nice to see you have some better stability now!

Good luck with your continued tweaking and testing
