Legacy USB Storage detect disabled? Try a NON beta BIOS and be sure you load optimized defaults and save/apply after you flash

              Hi,
i get deeper tonight , and give a try at all my usb peripherals ...
with usb 2 disabled in the bios , all is working fine ...
with usb2 enabled keyboard and mouse still working , an xbox 360 controller still working , none of my usb drive , integrated usb VFD Imon (Soundgraph), webcam ...

Very weird , i ve tried all the things i can think off ...

any idea will be welcome ;)

In space nobody can hear you scream ;)

                Re: GA-EP31-DS3L usb problem

Not sure what could help you get it all working except maybe a new board that is not in the budget range that the P31-xxL series is

Do you really need ALL those things plugged in? Have you used USB to PS/2 Adapters for your keyboard/mouse and tried with them plugged into the PS/2 ports?

                      Re: GA-EP31-DS3L usb problem

I dunno either, only that maybe because it is the Cheap model, twice. P31 means cheap P35, and L in the model name means budget. So maybe you just tried to save to much $$ and expected to much from such a cheaper board?

... yes This board is one of the cheapest to date ...
but i m still trying to figure out why usb 2 don't work properly ...

Did anybody else as this type of issue ?

                        Please let me know ...

Could be bad onboard ports you have? Might want to RMA the board for a new one
