I am so happy I found this forum on google. I have the same exact problem and tried clearing the cmos with the pins and battery but that did not work. So I removed all the PCI hardware, video card, and all the ram, turned it on, and got the double beep. Turned it off, installed the ram and video card, and viola, I am back in business, its working again. Thanks everyone for your input. I probably did not need to clear the Cmos. BTW, I am sticking with Asus boards from here on out, I never had a problem with Asus, they are just picky on the RAM.
