Well Janus good luck and tell your colleagues that YOUR customers are waiting for a SOLUTION they DESERVE.

You should have them also directly addressing our issues, it would help them to understand that the world is not as pink as they think.

      Cheers

you guys are lucky, to have high vdimm on p35c.
        at +0.7 i get only 2.2V instead 2.5V. i have F8 bios.

edit: i somehow managed to get 2.35V at +0.7, but its still 0.2V short...

is this out of the BIOS or Everest ?

What DDR RAM are you using 2 or 3 which type ?

            I use DDR2, supertalent 800MHz C4.
The voltage is out of bios. I also measured it with voltmeter..

their spec voltage is 2.2V, so not an issue for this borad. My G.SKill PC2 6400 CL5 were toasted as they need 1.8V.

              Watch this when buying DDR2.

Anyone running F9 BIOS should read this:

GIGABYTE needs no introduction but they are here to provide free technical support for their motherboards, graphics cards and other products!

I know, this is a very old topic, but I was wondering of there ever came a solution to this problem? And are other boards affected as well? For example, I have a GA-EP35C-DS3R (note the "E") and I need to run my RAM at 1.9V.

                      Re: P35C-DS3R Memory Voltages?

It should have been fixed after a BIOS update, can you not set your voltages still? Are you using the latest BIOS?

+.1 should be 1.9, but Auto may be 1.88 which would be close enough anyway

My DIMM voltage is on AUTO and according to Everest it is already 1.94V... that's why I asked.

Ahh, so you may want to leave it. But Software measurements are not usually correct so you may be getting more then that or less. Multimeter is the only way to know for sure

                            Hi Lsdmeasap,

I just read this! now everything seems so clear and totally explains the problems I've been having with my Computer that don't boot after being shutdown over night. Remember I told you i thought it was a voltages problem as I mention in my treat? It is exactly that, these boards have a Voltages problem this confirm this. From what I get from reading this, there's still no solution to the problem??

I can confirm that normal gives about 2.2V and +1v gives about 1.94V with latest F12E beta bios and others before that. Also checked with Everest... (I would be happy to test any other app just tell me witch)

Btw shouldn't normal be like 1.8V?

Normal likely gives you 2.2V because that is what your ram's SPD is programmed for

Normal should be 1.8 for 1.8 rated ram or any ram without a EPP programmed into it. And of course other settings left in Auto or default will affect this

I advise 2.0-2.1 for your 2.2 rated ram
