  • ram voltage 1.35 Vs 1.5

I'm planning to buy another set of ram soon (gskill ripjaws) and i'm wondering if this new set will run ok because the voltage is 1.5 v (standard) whereas the current set run at 1.35v (Eco).

    Thanks for your inputs guys

You can set only one voltage for all ram modules. So, probably the 1,35 V is too low for the standard modules, or 1,5 V is too high for the eco modules. What exactly are your current eco ram modules? Some of them also have a 1,5 V XMP profile. Nevertheless it's never a good idea to mix such different modules. Chances are very high that they don't work together. Why not buying another set eco modules of the same type?

The ones i have are these:
      G.Skill F3-10666CL7D-4GBECO

I think they support xmp 1.5v but that would be overclock.
