Sounds like you need to get back to basics first here.
Were you having any problems before upgrading the drivers?
ATI currently lists 6.13.3276 as the current reccomended driver for the Radeon 64Mb DDR.
Also it recomends using DirectX 8.1.

Be sure to check those IRQ's for sound and video to assure there is no conflict. Go through your input devices etc.etc.

Have you ensured all other processes are no longer running?
(Those that aren't critical to gameplay)

Sounds like time for some research, and possibly a bit of good old trial-and-error.

    Best of luck to you!!
Let us know how it turns out.

Another thing: Are you using any 4-in-1 drivers?

did you use an NTFS or FAT32 partition on your HDD?

and I could swear I read somewhere that you can do to a bootdisk folder on your winXP CD and make a bootdisk from there. I'll have to confirm that when I get home and can actually take a look at my CD.

                    gl papa :thumb:

you might also try bootdisk.com to get a bootdisk

you set your BIOS to boot off removable devices and it still boots off C: ??

you sure you saved the changes before exiting the BIOS :?:

Go into ya BIOS and select the option that boots the A:/ drive 1st as options such as "CD/C/A" could mean that the floppy is bein' missed due to another device gettin' in 1st. :smokin:
