Screen Flicker Problem

Whenever I rightclick on a movie file (mpg, avi, anything), the screen flickers black for about 2 seconds before returning, then bringing up the rightclick menu. I have no idea why it's doing this, it never did it before.

Do I have a virus or something? I searched the forum and I googled it, came up with nothing. I tried changing the refresh rate and it didn't work either.

Try updating video drivers.

It says I have the latest ones.

It's the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU.

Is there anything else I can try?

I used to have one of those and had similar problems...I would try going into your device manager, removing the device, and rebooting.

But if I remove the device can I still play games and stuff?

When the system reboots it will reload the drivers from scratch
