What drivers are you running? The latest drivers are probably not the best for your card. In fact, I always found the 81.98's the best for my 6800GS setup I used to run. That would account for the low score. Your CPU score looks right on though. Try the 81.98 drivers and see what happens.

I tried installing 81.98 it dosnt work it says it cannot locate any drivers that are compatible with your hardwear, so I got 84.21 which are the ones I used on the other system and I got a lower score 2172 so what else can you think of.

I got 2133 3DMarks with a S.M 2.0 Score of 1154, CPU Score of 789 at stock 2.0GHz. Does this sound about right? I will be back later with overclocked results.

Ok update, 3dmark score with cpu overclocked to 2.4ghz and viedeo card at 554/603 the score is 2256. The cpu score came out to 937, which is a nice gain from stock. What do you think of these results? Next i will try to bench at 2.6ghz. Hopefully break 1k.

Lo all, just got 3Dmark 06 test's done

Score's are = 4327 3DMARKS
SM2.0 = 1871
HDR/SM3.0 = 2114
cpu = 992

Lets know wot you think people

What resolution did you run the test at? Do you have the compare link? Most of the scores here are @ 1280X1024 and your score seems higher than what that hardware should get at that resolution.

Sry, it was at 1280X1024. I just installed the programe and ran the test. I take it thats quite good then .
I'll grap a screen shot and post it if ya want?
Any idea's of a better cooler ? As the Accelero X2 blows the air onto the motherboard, which cannot be good!!

It seems to be around what similar setups are scoring. I am just very surprised how well that video card carries that older platform. As for the cooler, the Zalman VF900 is about your only other choice.

I believe that the sapphire cards already come with the zalman vf900, and it is already overclocked for you. I have the asus eax1950 and my ceiling is 648/1400, no more room on the memory no matter what.

Sry bud but the sapphire cards dont come with the zalman fan, if they did i would have this thing overclocked to the max by now. Here's a review of this card http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/...0AGP/index.php it's the best review so far and give's it a fair judgement.
As for the card comming ready overclocked i have not heard that anywere. The max i can see in ATI overdrive is 627 core and 797 memory and as this is DDR3 that would take it to 2.4ish on the memory maxed out.
So time to get that zalman cooler and get this card maxed out and show asus cards up. I'll post freash scores once i get it
