                    Blimey!
I think I need some help!
I've an ASUS k8V deluxe mobo, a 3400+ Athlon64 mobile with XP-120 heatsink, a 256 Radeon 9800 Pro, and 1 Gb paired Corsair XML DDR400 RAM, and I'm getting a score of just over 25000!
My CPU score is a shade under 6000, and my GFX is 3500!
I think it ran faster on my old mobo and CPU!
Do you reckon there's some new settings on the mobo that could have this effect? I also have the HDD on the secondary IDE, but that shouldn't matter should it?
PLEASE! I need some major assistance.

Youe score is at least 10K too low. When is the last time you updated drivers and such? I have a feeling there is either a driver conflict/or too old or even maybe some settings that need changing in bios.

Thanks for the speedy reply guys..

I sorted it out.. I had the Omega Drivers for catalyst 5.10a installed. Now I have the Omega equivalent Catalyst 5.12.
But I think the big difference must've come from installing the VIA 4-in-1 drivers for my newly installed mobo (I'm guessing the AGP slot was only running in Windows as an AGP 2.0, and not an AGP 3.0).
You know - I thought I'd done that already
I'm sure with some tweaking and OCing I can eke out another 1000 pts, but as it stands at 49950, I'm happy with a nearly 100% improvement!
So let that be a warning.. MOTHERBOARD DRIVERS!

Considering he's got a 9800 PRO 256MB card, 55K is not out of the question. What core is tha 9800 running? If it is the R360 core, you may want to consider flashing the bios on it to the 9800 XT. You won't see any huge gains, but IMO, they clock better that way. I had one that would do 450/435 on air that way, and would only do 420/425 before flashing.

Well, i had a 9800 128mb non pro, flashed to a pro, and got around 54,000, and my specs was lower than his so no doubt 55k is not out of the question.
