I just found out that FRAPS saves in .bmp format so I have nice, 3mb screenshots..:rolleyes2

Fraps never compresses anything.

Just convert them pictures it's no biggie. :)

As far as I know, only PSP has 'Paste as New Image'.

Microsoft Photo Editor has it (it comes with MS Office if none of you ever noticed). though it is a crappy piece of app but works when you want to do some quick resizing and screenies etc. :)

i have adobe photo deluxe. using this software should allow me to compress a quality screenshot. doesn't windows print screen in bmp. ???

When you save it in paint, save it as a 24-bit bitmap.
