Ok did a secure erase on the ssd and formated hdd. I then let windows partition and format the ssd first then partitioned the hdd. Installed windows on the ssd installed all drivers except any marvel drivers, so the ssd is using the msahci driver. I think I still have a few tweaks left to do but here's where its at now.

Notice AS SSD now shows 103424 K -OK instead of the 1024 K - OK before.

This is probably due to win7 creating a hidden RECOVERY partition.
When you create an aligned partition (using all available space) before installing win7, the win7 install will create a \Recovery folder that will be inaccessible.
With the hidden recovery partition setup, when you create an image backup, be sure to include the complete ssd, not just the boot partition.

Whats the specified 4K speeds for your drive, or listed IOP/s?

GParted and HDDerase have secure erase options.
Secure erase is supposed to return your ssd to "like new" condition.

Ya, those use the Internal SE ATA commands programmed within the SSD per ATA specifications and manufacturer's pre-programmed routines.

This resets the blocks to an unused state, rather than erasing them which requires write cycles. I use HDDErase

that by far is the easiest way to secure erase an ssd,the other two just too complicated for my liking

I just did a google search "how to secure erase SSD" and it was the first link. It was soo fast, it said it would take 2 min to complete and as long as it took me to read the message it was complete. I used the same program to secure erase the hdd and that took every bit of 44 min to complete.

you can choose the caching route aswell,i found it to be quite good

caching route? What install OS to hdd and cache with the ssd? Mines 120gb I thought it only worked up to 64gb.

yeah upto 64gb,it would be a waste on that drive,but atleast the options there
