Can anyone suggest a good nforce mobo for little $$$? I know the a7nax-deluxe and nf7-s are great, but I dont have the dough right now. Are there any good Chaintechs or DFI's or something along those lines or in the 75 dollar range that are ok? I know that it may not possible for this price, but I just spent my money on a ASUS 9600XT and now I need a decent mobo to go along with it. Mine now is only 4X agp.

Its probably not worth it to get a new mobo for AGP 8X, there is virtually no performance benefit.
However, if you've got a VIA chipset then you will gain a bit of performance from an nForce2 mobo, but I wouldn't get a cheap version when the good versions are only a little more, and arguably the best you can get in Australia (Abit NF7-S) is only $135 or less.

Do not go with a Via..go with a nforce2 board.
AGP 8x doesn't give much of a boost..my 1-2%, but the nforce2 is better then via..CPU: Opteron 165 @ 311x9 - 2817.8 mhz - 1.47v
