Re: Combining RAM/Issues after installing RAM
Psycho - Thanks for the in-depth guide. I was able to follow it, but my PC (even after down-clocking the processor) refuses to run all the RAM at stock speed. I can get it to run @ 183MHz and 166MHz, but not @200MHz. I tried to find the HT clock speed, but I cannot find it for the life of me. I thought it might be the SB -> NB freq multiplier, but I was wrong. I will continue playing with it for the next few days, and I'll check in to let you all know how it's going.
Even after getting into Windows (finally) w/ 183MHz clock the audio is all messed up. I might try the on-board audio and see how it fares.
On this board the only option for SB OCing is to increase voltage from stock to 1.6v (which I have enabled.
I am going to try to add pics of the options I have for fine-tuning memory timings, but the board seems to do a good job on its own. I will also try to get pics of the Memory timings I have achieved so far. Wondering about your opinion as to which looks best.
