I have a Transcend JetRam 2GB RAM running @ 800MHz (model=JM800QLU-2G). I was wondering if I would be able to get 4GB by adding another 2GB RAM of the same model. The only thing which is clouding me is that this model is not listed in the dual channel kits on the Transcend's official site. Will it work ?

Re: Adding 2GB RAM: will this work ?
Your OS, on the other hand, may not play nicely. 4GB of RAM really needs a 64 bit OS to work. 32 bit versions will generally only address between about 2.5-3.25GB of RAM. It is a limitation of the OS.Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill
