Hmmm, I get this as well with BF1942. That's when I decided to stop playing as much... :D

So do you walk or drive down the street thinking about where the good places to sit and snipe are too? Sometimes i think, "If only that coffee shop was a base full of axis soldiers and i had a grenade, id just rooll it in right under 'em."

... this isnt TOO disturbing, is it?

I think too much period about things I consider people usually wouldn't - I don't think I have gone that far before though...

Call me old-fashioned, but I take some degree of comfort in wires.
Kind of nice to see that physical connection sometimes.

And as to keyboards and mice - I live 40 miles round trip from the nearest pack of batteries. I can just envision cruising the forum and having the batteries go dead ---- there would be 1 each wireless keyboard laying in the road in front of the house quick, fast, and in a hurry I'd bet you that:hammer:

I feel very similar about wireless and when someone can show me that they are as secure and fast as a physical connection then I'll just stick w/ cables for my network but that won't stop me investigatin' in it as I do have this antena mast handy. ;)

We have a similar tower like that in our backyard which was used for TV, we have satelitte TV now.

Sure you could hook wireless up to it but it probably won't do you any better than having an access point in your house because 802.11x does not go line of sight like Bluetooth.

But I will be on rather high clear area though which would cover the whole town and some lower valley areas plus there are a few kids at the local school who just may like an internet cafe to get hooked on computers and the internet. Though there is also room for a couple of dishes to be fitted as well; ;)

Well ya must admit that I'd be as stupid as a stump at least not to atempt it at any rate. Plus there's these 2 blocks of vacant land dirrectly behind that the real estate man are "dirt cheap". ;)

Yes a good link and I've got a couple of aussie sites just like that one around here somewhere (I'm on a repaired PC atm) that a friend of mine keeps sendin' me.

                            Enjoy Mr.C. :thumb:

Just went a couple hours ago and knocked on the door of my friendly neighborhood telephone guy.

He'll be bringing 60 feet of Cat5 by tomorrow for me to run, and him and his helper will be along Monday to get things going.

                                Mr C

Have fun and enjoy, there will be no turning back once you have broadband!

It took me forever to get a fast connection and I truely appreciate it every day!
