Network Cable unplugged

Hi
I have A Trio Operating System.
1. Windows XP
2. SuSe
3. Mepis 3.0



I am getting A network cable unplugged error in Windows XP. When I go to SuSe I have no problem with the internet.

What happened is I booted into Windows then Suse both work with the internet. I booted to Mepis. Mepis would not work with the internet. So I booted back to Windows. This time windows would not work with the internet. I have rebooted the modem which in the pass has worked. This did not work. Any ideas?

try reinstalling windows driver for nic

Have already tried to reinstall nic. Next will try to release & renew using the run command
