  • Where did the 2nd connection come from?

    Ok, I posted this already, but it dissapeared. Anyway I have a strange 2nd connection that appeared yesterday. It also shows in the task manager as connection #2. It showed linkspeed of 30 Mbps.

    edit.. Ok this is strange, it is not there now????

    Just do the simple thing and disable it and/or remove it, and see if it reappears.

      As per my edit, it is gone now. I did nothing to remove it. Just a reboot. I have seen something similar before with ati aiw cards. It thinks the cable in is an extra network connection sometimes.

        If you actually looked at your screenshot, you'll see that it's labelled Microsoft TV/Video connection. It appears for some people who have card with TV / Video input. Not entirely sure as to what it does, but that's what it's related to, and it's not necessary.
