  • Not good but alot better!

Me and my gf are moving to a new apartment in the first of august, then I will be using a faster connection, 2.5 Mbit compared to the 0.5 Mbit line I've used for a while now.
2.5 Mbit isn't "real" broadband but it sure will be better than this one.. :)

The thing is that the ISP that we will sign up for in august is currently trying out a new project in my town. They will offer a few areas a 26 Mbit connection (fastest for private persons in the whole country), just imagine sutch a line, there's no end to the possibilities!!

I'm not saying I will get one anytime soon but theres a chance within a year or so because one person I know lives not far from our new home and he will be trying one. Hey no wrong in dreaming is there..

Btw that superline is about $39 a month.

a 26 Mbit connection would make me drewl all over my keyboard!

hell, even 2.5 Mb would make me a little light headed

best I can get here is 1 Mb (which I have) and it runs me about $40 US a month

what does $39 in Sweden come to here in the US?

Well it ain't THAT cheap. Sweden has usually very good prices though, if you are living in the right areas you can get 10 Mbit for between $19-25.

That would be a sweet deal, but I can't complain too much. Since the cable company finally got the rest of the city wired with fiber, we are getting 3Mb for about $39/month

I have cable here for $35us and get 3mb throughput. Not bad at all!!! ;)

Plus I got a killer deal on the modem, two months free, three months after that for $29 month.
I sucked them in and they took it...

I was a dsl tech for a while so I knew how to get them to give me a good deal...
