As usual not many bothers to read...the threads should be closed after 1-2 weeks from expiring date.

They probably don't lock the thread because winner's often post after they've won or when they receive their prize.

A better solution would be to lock the thread when the contest closes and add "CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED" to the beginning of each contest thread title one week after the contest starts.

They could have a single "Contest Winners Comments" thread where they can post comments.

Use the forum's Contact Us feature located near the lower right corner of web pages to suggest changes.

If you don't let 'em know, nothing will change.

All giveaways are for one week only.
The instructions and dates are always in the first post of the giveaway thread.
