Just bought a new game. Says c 2003. Great gfx. Smooth playing, well worth the $30.
Lately I've been getting games from a guy that keeps buying them, and they wont work with his crappy o/b gfx.
He wont listen, bonus, all the newest games for 1/2 price or less.

This idiot has spent over $500 on games that wont work for him, and refuses to buy a gfx card. lol

Is this a dx9 game? Has dx9 on disc, but says 8.1 or higher.

If it says 8.1 or higher then it's not a fully DX9.0 complaint game by definition.

There are no full DX9.0 games out that I know of, most only have portions which use DX9.0 features.

rainbow 6: ravenshield does handles dx9 better than dx8.1, and sure there's dx9 games like enter the matrix and others.

Also got bf1942 from that guy a week ago. Awesome game, very addictive. I've been right into it.

Yeah I've got BF1942 with all the add ons and updates. Only play it online though. It is highly addictive. My Girlfriend has even started playing it. :wow: I haven't tried Raven sheild since I Updated to Directx 9 but it ran fine with 8.1

There is a 1.3 Patch for Raven Shield available from here. Make sure you're patched up to the latest version.

Oh yea, every game I play is patched up to date, or they won't work online. The average user does not know about patching, and when they try to play online it won't work and they just give up.
Then they give me the game.:laugh:

I just bought Raven Shield today and am very mad. I bought it so I could play multiplayer with a friend tonight. But, it requires CD 2 to be in the drive and won't let you play with the same key on two computers. I bought Ghost Recon recently and it works just fine. It comes with two CDs and I put one in each computer and that works. So, now they expect us to buy a copy for each computer just to play on a home LAN??? Its bad enough that I have to keep all of my CDs within reach on my desk but now I can't play on the network.
