Legally and insurance wise ya may get away with a 1.5-1.8l Toyota engine that was available for those models then a bit of fine engine balancin' and tuning but that would be about the limit I say. :smokin:

olie has driven:
82 corolla
00 fairmont
98 laser
VS commy
Moke
mustang
80's Telstar
suby Forester
****ty old jeep 4x4
some wired assed thing
and a gemmi
And after driving the mustang you still say the charade has power!!!......you must be on drugs.....:p
An 82 Corolla you say.....I know what you can do to that....
Replace the engine with a 4AGE engine out of an AE86 Corolla (1.6l DOHC)
Koni sports shocks all round, Koni Springs, and Koni Dampers.
Replace the diff with an LSD from an AE86.
Gearbox from an Ae86............
Hang on..........why don't you just buy an AE86? :p
Yes but NOS is the most well known, so it is a word I can use that everyone knows what I am talking about, and it is quicker to type than Nitrous. And the systems used I am talking about are in-fact NOS systems. :D
NOS is awesome, assuming you have checked out whether your shot is safe.
And Olie, just buy a new car. An 82 Corolla is not exactly the type of car that one would trick out for performance. Maybe you could get it to almost a million miles like Albinus.
Is that 2.8L V6 off your friends Supra a 5M-GE? I need one right now, and even thou it'd be stupid to have you ship it from AUS, it'd be nice to know they still exist......
