i m not pointing fingers at any software but do you think running BlackIce is a smart move? :confused:

why wouldn't it be a smart move for him? or is there something about it most people aren't aware of?

ERM............if i didn't think it would be a smart move i wouldn't have it, but i would really like to know why? whats wrong with it :( I just got it free with Computer Shopper and i needed a "free" firewall. Haven't had any probs so far apart from not know who the intruders are :)

actually i have not heard very good things about BlackIce Defender. imo Syagte or Zone Alarm are better options than BlackIce but then thats just me :)

here is the desktop environment i have switched to from KDE.
if you think that KDE/GNOME runs very slow while FluxBox/BlackBox are too minimalistic then XFCE is for you. it is rock solid, very fast and really looks good
