Does anyone know what i need to CORRECTLY run my pc on my Rear-projection TV?
My video card has DVI and VGA outputs, the video card is DVI-L while the HDTV is DVI-D, so the connector is juuuuust barely different.
I dont know if i NEED a transcoder for VGA to Component (seems like that would be worse than DVI?)
or if there is a way to run some sort of connector from the DVI on my card to the DVI(HDTV) on the tv....
ive found a couple transcoders for VGA to Component for about $100....but im not sure if that would look ok or not? im a total noob to the whole HTPC thing. I dont need exceptional, but i definitely dont want garbage!
S-Video sucks, im not going to bother with that.
