Reading an article here in APC magazin in Aus today got me thinking about setting up a pc as a video recorder/media centre.
I am in the market for a video recorder,so wondered if I could make a project.
I would like to set up one of those mini itx cases /mb's with a HD,video card,maybe DVDR as well.
Are threr any video capture/tv tuner cards on the market which will output to a normal TV and not just in a window on PC desktop.
If there is what is the output resolution to TV,so if I record a tv brodcast will I be able to play it back to the TV at a quality comparable to VHS.
Anyone out there got any experience of setting up a PVR
