I am thinking about buying a new videocard for my computer. I really can't afford a GF4 Ti 4600 right now, but I believe I can get enough to purchase a GF4 Ti 4200. They have a good deal over at newegg.com for an ASUS V9280TD GF4 Ti 4200 card....but THIS is what I am wanting to know.....I heard that the 64 mb cards are a little faster than the 128 mb cards!! Is this true?? The ASUS GF4 Ti 4200 (128 mb) (8x AGP) with TV out and DVI retail sells for $149.99(US dollars) with free shipping! (I live in the US) And the ASUS GF4 Ti 4200 (64 mb) (8x AGP also) and with TV and DVI retail sells for $125.99(US dollars)(Also free shipping)
Most would say get the 128mb because it has more memory.....but why pay for more memory, if it runs slower on games and gives worse framerates??? (I am asking this question because of the people who say that the 64mb is faster than the 128 mb cards) So would it be better to get the 128mb or the 64mb card for games and graphics????
