I'm looking at the Radeon 9500 cards, but am tring to make sure I got this part strait. There is a 9500 at 64 meg, a 9500 at 128 meg and a 9500 pro also at 128 meg. Or are dealers just leaving the pro out of the discreption for the 128 meg card and all 128 meg cards are the pro version?

you can buy a non pro 64 or 128MB

"pro" essentially refers to the number of pipelines active in the GPU
the pro has 8
the non-pro has 4 of the 8 disabled - so it has half of the fill rate

there is a software hack to enable all 8 pipelines on a non-pro, but since they were not qualified at the factory- there is no guarantee they will work correctly.

however - if you are able to gat all 8 functioning correctly - you can get a 9500pro - or even a 9700 for the price of a non-pro:thumb:
