I was thinking about buying a GeForce 6600 or 6800 AGP-card, but first I want to know how this compares to the graphics card I have now, a 128MB Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro...

Well I can tell you that the 6600GT will out preform the 9800Pro, I'm pretty sure it will continue to do so even with the 256MB version of the 9800.

The 6800 will deffinatly beat both of those card, though it is a fair bit more expencive.
Of course the 7800GT would be better and is fairly cheap, compared to when the 6800's came out. I would choose a 6800GT or 7800GT, but if you cant aford it try to find a 256MB 6600GT.

If you want a compairison(though the use of other CPU's would be diffrent) check out the 3dmark threads on the forum, you might find what you are lookng for.

I upgraded from a 9800 to a 6800 (normal one) (165$) and its worth that amount only, the performance boost was certainly noticable.
