Hey guys, i was just going over the specs and benchmark results and after looking at them it seems like i would be able to get either the 6200 or 6600 and it would blow my 5950 ultra away. The thing is on newegg my card still lists for like 400+ and those cards are much cheaper. Am i correct in this assumption and should i sell my card and do that? I havent had any first hand experience with the 6000 series cards, so i dont know. Thanks

The 6600 is a good choice, although it would be even better if you could afford the 6600GT -

The 5950 is just a terrible card for its price, kind of like the 9800XT. No one who's going to purchase a new video card should even consider one. A 6600GT would be a good choice.Comment

A 6600 is around 9800 PRO/XT performance I think....6200 just dosen't make sense, and neither does the 5950.Comment

well i was thinking 6200 because it sounded faster than my 5950 and for a lot less therefore i could make some money on the deal. and the 5950 made sense because i bought it over a year ago when it was the king of the hill for doom 3 when i was building a doom 3 computer.Comment
