  • Geforce FX 5600 128mb PCI?

I just saw on the internet that there is infact a fx5600 pci version.

    http://www.ivmm.com/inno3d/geforcefx...f_fx_5600.html

Im just wondering if this card is more powerful than my fx5200 64bit?

And i also just found a Geforce FX5700 256mb DDR PCI.

    http://www.amamax.com/gefx5712ddr1.html

    Are these cards real?

The FX 5600 PCI seems real, as I've heard of these before, but have been unable to find one until now.

The FX 5700, I'm not so sure of, as the link you gave me says that the chipset is a nVidia GeForceFX 5200 GPU, but this could just be an error on their webpage.

I'm currently looking for a PCI graphics card, as the motherboard I'm getting has only one PCI slot and no AGP (it's a mini-itx motherboard).

The best card I had managed to find so far was a BFG GeForce FX 5200 256MB PCI, a pre-overclocked FX5200. If BFG's latest cards are anything to go by, the FX5200 should be able to be OC'd some more

As the FX 5200, is at the low end of the FX range, both the FX 5600 and the FX 5700 should outperform it, although an overclocked FX 5200 is said to be on par with a FX 5600.

As many systems without AGP still exist (and are being sold even now), nVidia and ATI both make, or license, PCI verstions of their low end and even midrange products.

Your best bet is to make sure you can return the product for a full refund (no restocking fee) if it doesn't suit your needs. That way, you can test it with a utility to see what's really onboard, and if it's not what you expected, take it back and get your money back.

I have seen the BFG fx 5200 OC in my local comp store and have considered buying it. I will try to look up some benchmarks and see which turns out the better. Thanks guys.
