its a diagnostic software made by sisoftware. it tests all the different parts of your computer.
its a pretty useful tool to have

Sandra is a useful diagnostic and benchmarking tool for your system. Lots of applets (as in mini-applications, or modules, if you prefer) to analyze system specs, etc.

Does pretty much the same things as the older DOS-based "CheckIT!" type of tool. The cool thing about Sandra is that it does its work running as a Windoze GUI application.
