What do you guys recommend? 9800xt or 9800 pro? I can afford either, I'm just wondering if the xt is worth the xtra 200.

I'd say it isn't worth the extra as you can turn 256MB Radeon 9800 Pros into 9800 XTs:

But this Radeon 9800 Pro (128MB) is really good for it's price and probably the best bang-for-buck card you can get for over $200:

If you have the money then go with the XT, but if your a little low on cash then get the Pro and if you want you could do what Yawgm0th said, but if you dont feel like doing that just go with an XT

Yeah, if you do get a 9800 XT, wait for the X800 so the 9800XT goes down in price. But at the moment, I would say it isn't realy worth the extra money. IT is certainly much better, but not enough to warrant spending that kind of money unless that isn't a lot for you or you're very picky. :2cents:
