...its quite obviously that your system can not handle a high resolution. Is AA and AF on by any chance? It is also a 5600..if i may add...:cheers:CPU: Opteron 165 @ 311x9 - 2817.8 mhz - 1.47v

its wierd though cause ive experienced low end computers playing high end games and my computer isnt behaving like a normal situation like that. normally it'd be choppy and there would be lots of slow down and youd do something and like 20 seconds later it would do it, but with my system i wanna say its almost like internet lag where things happen like just half a second late...which with the game i play means a whole lot. i guess my videocard is like BARELY too slow?

Just stick with the nvidia drivers..because its your card..not the drivers.CPU: Opteron 165 @ 311x9 - 2817.8 mhz - 1.47v

Do you have the latest sis drivers? Hope you are not relying on the os to have correct versions. Sis chipsets are very fussy about this.athlon xp-m@2456mhz(12x204)

I'm guessing it might be your power supply if you know your video card and other system specs can handle the resolution of the games your playing. I call them video game hiccups that I think you might be experiencing. Does it happen all the time or just after your system been turned on for awhile and the PSU's had a little time to get warm and unstable? And are you running one of those power hungey video cards that need to be plugged into the PSU?

Sponge i highly doubt its the psu. Because all he is running is a fx5600, so the cpu is not the problem.CPU: Opteron 165 @ 311x9 - 2817.8 mhz - 1.47v

The fx5200, fx5600, and and some ati cards do not use a power connector to get their power supply. The fx5900, r9500 and up uses power connectors. But dude's case, he is using a fx5600 which i don't think can handle high resolutions.
Your right, it depends on what he is trying to run, but his problem isn't the psu. I think he is better off getting the 9700 that he is talking about in his first post. :cheers:CPU: Opteron 165 @ 311x9 - 2817.8 mhz - 1.47v

Like I said before, the sis 1.17(1.15b or higher) vxd agp driver is required no matter what gfx card you have. Did this fix the problem? y/nathlon xp-m@2456mhz(12x204)
