i am running a 128mb geforce fx 5200 at 4x. my 3d mark 2001 score will not go above 4800, and ive overclocked the mem and core by 100mhz each.

    i hav an ECS P4VXMS motherboard with a penitum 4 1.6 cpu @ 1.76.

does anyone know how i can raise my 3dmark score?

The FX5200 is crap. Your much better off spending a couple extra bucks and getting a Ti4200. You may score higher then the 4200 on 3DMark2003 though becuase its DX9 compatible, but thats useless becuase little or no games are fully DX9.

You also have a slower processor, as well as slow memory. Some DDR memory would greatly boost your performance, although that would likely involve a new motherboard, which may involve a new CPU.

If you are in the mood for playing with new drivers www.guru3d.com has version 52.70 on their site. It made a small improvement on my benchmarks.
