  • Best way to overclock Ti4200

    I have a MSI GF Ti4200 I'm running 40.72 drivers what is the best way or best software to do a little overclock?

    coolbits to enable the overclocking ability in the display properties.
    CPU: Opteron 165 @ 311x9 - 2817.8 mhz - 1.47v
    Mobo: Abit KN8-SLI
    RAM: 2x512 Crucial Ballistic Tracers500 @ 202 mhz 2-2-2-5 T1
    GFX: Asus EAX1950pro @ 648/1408

      I don't know if those drivers contain the hidden settings that the coolbits registry fix will unlock...I would recommend updating to newer drivers first.

        I believe they do, i tested it, it should have it in the 40.72

          I recommend the Omega 45.23 drivers.

          I am currently using/testing the 51.75 drivers though.

            Right now i am using the 44.03 standard i dont see any benefits using the omegas..

                Really, when i used it, i saw no relative increase...i dont know i might be stoned or half awake..i guess i will have to try it again.:)

                  Benchmarking I have no clue, I couldn't be bothered to uninstall and reinstall. However, in UT2003, w/ 44.03's I was getting 170FPS (stock) on the start menu, with the 45.23's I'm getting 200-205FPS. Maybe they work in real world applications better :shrug: . : peace2: Mista K6

                    Yea, well in battlefield i got 99 fps with 44.03 and 45.23 i got 60-80
