Help with ATI 9000 Pro

I have currently on my pc a GEForce2MX 64MB graph card, and have acquired a color power ati radeon pro 9000 128MB. I have the card , all the leads and the driver disk, could someone tell me the most painless way to install the new card, ie do install the new drivers, turn off machine and slot in new card and "hey presto" or is there another way (i know it sounds like a stupid question but i have no manual just the card leads and disks)

I dont know another way...tell me if there is one!

Here what i would do:
1-Get latest drivers for your new card (from ati should be the best)
2-remove drivers of the old card and reboot
3-shut down, swap cards and reboot
4-install the latest drivers that you have downloaded
