sapphire radeon 9500 atlantis pro

Hi all i got a sapphire radeon 9500 atlantis pro
and i cant play cs or ns bc the frames are like 8fps any ideas what to do to fix this?

A little information about the system and the previous video card would be helpful. From the info provided so far it sounds like it was not installed correctly.

More info would be great, but you will want to make sure the card is seated correctly in the AGP slot. Also make sure your system has all the up to date drivers.

yea i got a p4 2.4ghz win xp dx 9.0a runs other games fine but not cs or ns

Try going into the driver settings and altering a few things. make sure anti aliasing isn't on more than about 2 times and anastrophic filtering 4 times:thumb:

I'm assuming CS / NS are counterstrike and natural selection. Both of which are based on the HL engine. Have you tried wiping your whole HL install and reinstalling it?
