Ocing 9500

hey if i oc my softmod'd 9500 will i get distorted pics/checkerboard before my chip or memory gets fried...?

depends on how u OC..

for example, if u OC slowly (in 5 increments) then u should see artifacts before u fry anything (so just back off the timings and everything is all good) but if u just OC to the MAXX right from the start then the possibility of frying something is greatly enhanced.

i already know i can hit 390/c 385/m so i'll just take it slow from there as i figure i'm near my max anyway.

the max i can overclock my 9500 Pro is 305 Mem :tears:
Maybe gettin heat sinks for the memory will help

each chip is different...It is possilbe he got lucky, oh is this a lucky chip:
its a 2.66 ghz proc (P4) and i can get to 3.0 ghz without increasing the voltage?
