I'm trying to OC two different RAM brands. It's not exactly OC but more setting them to the lowest common frequency.
I have OCZ 2x2GB 1150MHz 5 5 5 18
and G.SKILL 2x2GB 1066 MHz 5 5 5 15
There are factory specifications.
I used to work with OCZ at 1150MHz but when I installed G.SKILL I set everything to auto in the BIOS to avoid conflicts. Now both brands work at 800MHz.
My MB: Gigabyte EX38-DS4
CPU: Intel E8500 @ 3.16GHz (Default).
Can I pull the RAMs to the lowest common frequency of 1066MHz?
