    seriously no matter what cooler you use it isnt going to help. I am being very blunt here so dont take offense. A little tidying of the wires isnt going to help. That case needs a full reworking. 52*C idle is an issue no matter how you look at it. I say put some money into a better chassis, at leastone with more room. Then really look at ways to add the ned PSU without wires all over the place.

    On top of that all the HDD's are blocking off or heating up any incomming cooler air, so by the time it gets to the CPU its warm already.

    On the 680i you should have access to the FSB settings, I say go back a page from your image and see if there is a auto frequency setting that can change to manual to allow access. Never had the board just taking a educated guess.

      The case will be ok when I have the 20cm side panel fan up and running and I am going to relocate the HDD's (or as many as possible) into the 5.25 bays and remove a DVD drive and the GPU power supply. I have a modular PSU on order too.
