I have an xp1800 with an asus a7a266 mb with 512mb memory. When I go into bios to set cpu speed there are 3 option, manual, 1136 and 1536. When I set to 1533 the commuter loads windows, but when i run a game it hangs. Also I tried to set it a manual and run FSB @133 the same problem occurs. At post it displays XP1800 as proccesor. I am not worried about overclocking yet, just want to run at Xp1800 speed.

Re: XP1800 help please
Those ALi based mainboards were a real bugger and in a lot of cases most had to be setup via jumpers to work properly (see your manual or if you don't have one then you can download one here) plus I hope that your memory is either PC133 or DDR266 rated (if lower, PC100 or DDR200, then that could be holding you back).
