You need to do a little searching and find a guide that covers your type of processor. The methods for overclocking are a bit different between AMD and Intel, and if you are running an older processor then the method is different than modern ways.

If you just want to adjust the FSB, then go into the BIOS... but since you mention that you are new to computers, I would highly recommend a guide to help you out.

ohh very nice toy...how about i have a pentuim 2.66ghz,asus p5ld2 se mobo and 256mb 7300gt video 350watt psu 160g hitachi..can i overclock this 2.66 to 3ghz and 500 fsb for more? were in bios but can you be more especific..thanx again.
