  • Overclocking my x2 3800+

I have it stable at 2200.32mhz with cpu temp at 37d/c and system temp 34d/c and mem at 2.70v and pcie at 3.33v, FSB at 1100.00, external frequency at 220mhz, multi x10, cpu voltage at 1.6500v, any suggestions on getting it to 2.4ghz say with the appropriate voltage/fsb/multi/mem/x freq setup, any help would mean a great deal thx.

    Re: Overclocking my x2 3800+

Change HTT to 240, and HTT multiplier to 4x (960MHz). Assuming you're using PC3200, you'd want to set a divider on the RAM to 166MHz (333) or 5:6 (depending on how your motherboard sets it up. Don't increase voltage. In fact, drop it to 1.5v (at the most) for 2.4GHz.
