The first two topics are really the same. You'll need to dig around in your BIOS and find somewhere you can change the base FSB to 200. This should take care of the 170MHz limit you currently have and also allow your memory to run at the higher speed (if it is able).

The third topic leaves you out in the cold, however, and is the primary reason I have never enjoyed the KT600 chipset. VIA took a huge step backwards when they took away the ability to bypass the locking technique used for the AMD processors. You will have to physically unlock the processor to make the changes you're looking for.

Something else to consider... AMD has lately done away with the easy unlocking of their processor line. Depending on the date of manufacture of your particular processor, you may also have one of these newer versions. You can find out the date of manufacture by researching the strings of alpha-numeric characters on the label along the side edge of the chip.
