      I have almost the exact setup as you(see sig). To apply the AS3, use a plastic sandwich baggy around your finger so you don't get any oils from you finger mixed in. If you put too much AS3, it won't conduct the heat as well. Like Wiggo said, just apply a paper thin amount. Almost to the point where you can see through it. Also, AS3 takes a few weeks to set in and during this time you WILL notice a drop in CPU temp. For about 3 months I was using a ThermalTake P4 Dragon heatsink and recently I picked up a ThermalTake Volcano 7+ and my CPU temp has dropped by 4c. I have my system at stock speeds righ tnow but I just finished testing how high I could OC it. I got the FSB up to 154 stable, RAM at 385Mhz, and vid card at 330/700. All votages were also raised for stability. This only managed to get me about 600 more 3dmarks. Temps were very reasonable. I have since put everything back to stock. It still runs fast stock.
