CPU temps don't match

I was checking my CPU temps in my BIOS and then i compared them to my temps with the ASUS Utility that came with the mb and the bios temps said the cpu was at 40 degrees celcius and the asus utility said it was at 32... does anyone know why? and which is more accurate? I have a SLK-800 with a Thermaltake Smartfan II set up to be at constant full speed so I would think the temp should be pretty low. i don't know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I had same problem with my albatron px845pev pro mainboard... System temp and CPU temp were reversed... Check to see if your system temp is 32 in bios :)
