Polishing your Volcano 7+ Guide

I had this Article/Guide for a long time in my favorites...and i actually never tried it. Its to sand down and polish your heatsink that came with your Volcano 7+. I might try it this weekend...doesn't look like it could hurt the cooling. The author claims to give you a couple degrees cooler since its in better contact with your CPU. Dunno if this is true...but hey i'll give it a try.

i've been under the impression that the bottom of the 7+ was already very smooth...but if you apply your goop right i don't think it would matter to a certain degree

If ya want it to shine then just use a bit of metal polish like Braso. ;)

So it you think it won't make a difference...did you see the end result...or is that just an illusion.

Check the base of your's. I've heard reports of a few rough ones around and his may of been one of them. ;)
